Migrating from LionSuite

Overview

Installing the new LionSDK with our Easy Install should not break any existing LionSuite setup. For example, if you already had LionAnalytics (or any other LionSuite package) installed, the LionSDK bundle will just update the versions. Nothing will be duplicated or conflicted.

💡

However, it is cleaner to remove individual package installs:

Open Packages/Manifest.json
Remove all lines starting with com.lionstudios, except com.lionstudios.release.bundle

LionSuite Deprecations

We have deprecated some older LionSuite modules that you should remove at this time.

LionAds: If you were using LionAds, you can use MaxSDK ad methods instead, following the documentation here.
LionGDPR: MAX SDK released its own GDPR solution, MAX Unified Consent Flow. This replaces our older LionGDPR. Please uninstall LionGDPR and follow the instructions here.
LionLocalization: This was only used by Lion GDPR. You can just remove it. If you were using any features in this package, please contact Support.
LionSuite - SDK Service: This was a dependency of LionAnalytics. Updating LionAnalytics should uninstall this. If it doesn’t, you should be able to remove it without consequences.
